Experience Design lies at the intersection of immersive customer engagement, intellectual property, and operational necessity. Its chief component is three-dimensional storytelling, which interlocks locations, events, and emotions in an engaging and memorable way.

Experience Design is specifically crafted to create deep and lasting connections between intellectual property, brands, and people.

While it may sound abstract, experience design is really all about using stories to create a level of engagement and immersion that fosters positive, long-lasting positive memories for your customers, and deeper connections between your customers and your intellectual property, brand, products, and services through destination development and place-making. It puts user experience front and center, whether you’re designing rides and shows, products and services, events and physical spaces, or end-to-end customer journeys.

I specialize in story-based immersive and experiential design with an emphasis on strategic planning for leisure and brand experiences. This includes ride and show elements; exhibits; retail, food and beverage, and location-based entertainment elements.

My goal is to bring venues to life in memorable ways by creating various levels of engagement. This encompasses combining storytelling with physical and virtual interactivity, immersive presentation techniques, environmental graphics and signage, architecture, audio visual and special effects technologies, and specialty lighting. Combining all these elements engages both the right and left sides of the brain, appealing to both logic and emotion at the same time. In this way, the highest level of engagement is created for your clients.

The business model behind this is simple: engaged and happy customers who feel connected to an experience will become repeat customers with positive memories – which will inspire positive word-of-mouth brand stories. The end effect of effective experience design is memory-making.

The bottom line of this effort is to help you manage your bottom line. This is achieved by creating memorable experiences that forge lasting relationships with your guests – and through these ongoing relationships your business will continue to flourish and grow.
